Welcome in the fascinating world of learning and multimedia!
This courseware is the product of several hundred hours of work at the
prepatory level as well as in the actual production of the document.
We hope that the quality of this work meets with your expectations.
To give you a glimse of what kind and how much information is packed in
this courseware, a demo package was prepared: the main menu and the first
screen of each chapter are fully functional, except for certain
navigational functions. That way you can click on the different buttons
to see what can happen.
To install the demo:
A) From diskette drive:
-1- Under Windows, open the File Manager.
-2- Double-click on the file called "INSTALL.EXE" on diskette 1.
-3- Specify the directory where you want to install the demo.
B) From hard disk:
-1- Create a temporary directory on the hard disk;
-2- Copy the content of both demo diskettes in that directory;
-3- Under Windows, open the File Manager.
-4- Double-click on the file called "INSTALL.EXE".
-5- Specify the directory where you want to install the demo.
When installation is done, you sould remove the temporary directory.
Written for the dentist, professional and student alike, this course is
about the Anatomy & Anaesthesia of the Mandibular Nerve. It contains 3
chapters of theoretical information (Osteology, Dissection & Clinic), and
a Quiz section which consist into a questionnaire designed to test the
userÆs newly acquired knowledge of dissection.
The contents of the courseware is supported by more than 100 photographs
& diagrams in 256 colors, in which structures are identified by clicking
on the highlighted words in the accompanying text.
A location and access map of the contents is always available through the
use of a ôWhere Am I?ö button: the user knows where he or she is and can
change location at will.
The goal is to present the user with input from a wide range of different
medium, information which is otherwise spread around in the library,
laboratory, classroom, etc.
This is truly an interactive multimedia course.
